Review highlights
Based on 162 reviewsMilchweiß is widely praised for its cozy atmosphere and friendly, attentive service, often highlighted as a key aspect of the overall experience. The café offers a diverse menu with standout coffee options, including well-prepared specialty drinks like chai lattes, pumpkin spice lattes, and matcha, all made using quality beans. Patrons appreciate the variety of fresh pastries and savory items, which complement the beverage selection well. The two-level seating arrangement, particularly the upstairs area overlooking the street, is frequently mentioned as a pleasant and convenient space for socializing, though the absence of WiFi may limit its appeal for remote working. Pricing is viewed as reasonable, contributing to the café’s strong value proposition. While some customers note minor preferences regarding drink temperature, the consistent quality and welcoming environment make milchweiß a favored spot in its Berlin neighborhood.
Great Chai Latte, atmosphere, and service. It is reasonably priced and delicious. The owner provided great customer service. 10/10 would recommend this place.
Excellent pumpkin spice lattes and various yummy sandwiches (laugeneck mit avo; belegtes Brötchen mit Ei). Nice seating upstairs. Sweet treats looked great too, but didn’t get a chance to try them. Prices between 3,50-4,50 for drinks and sandwiches.
Went there multiple times. Great matcha, great pastry selection, also savory stuff to choose from. Has a second floor, which is overlooking the street - really nice, great people working there friendly atmosphere, only minus is no Wi-Fi for working.
Amazing panning, best in city and the pastries are worth the trip. Also next to the river do awesome spots to enjoy. Wonderful staff A++
Lovely small cafe opposite Riedrichstadt Palast along Friedrichstraße. Lots of food options and seating upstairs make this a convenient choice as you really need to walk about another 10 mins or so to find a better coffee around here. I found the cappuccino a little too hot for my taste, but it was well prepared, and they use Zazza beans, which I also use at home, and they are a delightful balanced medium strength roast. One thing to consider is that, rather annoyingly, they only take card payments above €5 so if you are stopping just for a drink and no food, you may need to have a few coins with you. A small inconvenience in an otherwise very nice experience.
Very, very friendly personnel. Cute coffee place. Tiny staircase in the back leads to an extended seating area. Very good flat white for 3.90€, too. Not more expensive than other coffee places, even rather on the affordable side. If it’s not crowded probably a good place for a short work session even.
Very yummy, maybe a bit expensive (but hey, it’s Berlin) and the outside area could be cleaned a little more (cushions with stains & umbrella quite dirty). Other than that I enjoyed it.
Lovely little place with very limited seating. Please be aware that the stairs are very narrow steep and winding and you have to carry your own beverage up so if you have limited mobility maybe better for to-go orders
